Get Your Feet Wet

If you are brand new to yoga or simply curious as to what a Vine and Branches Yoga session is all about then you are welcome to a FREE 20-minute session! All of the session types listed and described below are available as a Get Your Feet Wet choice.

 
Power Flow Stress Reliever

Power Flow Stress Reliever links breath with a series of poses, encouraging the body to build strength and relieve stress. An energizing session designed to create a strong foundation while opening you up to be playful, exploring your potential. Accompanied by music, you will be guided through a series of yoga asanas, creating a continuous flow, intermingled with strategically placed holds to strengthen and encourage you to grow your practice to the next level. This can be tailored toward the beginner or more advanced yogi...and of course anywhere in between! The traditional sun salutation is a very important component of this class, one breath per movement, with active rest in downward facing dog.  

 

 

Yoga for EVERYbody

Yoga for EVERYbody is a hatha yoga session where you will explore various asanas (postures) and be guided at a gentle relaxed-pace. It integrates breath work with conscious muscle elongation, toning and body-awareness for a greater sense-of-balance. This is a perfect place to learn yoga poses, relaxation techniques, and gain comfort with yoga. It is designed to build a strong foundation, focusing the body in the principles of alignment. A great session for beginners, although all yogis will benefit from this practice!

 

 

Stretch and Let IT Go

Stretch and Let IT Go focuses on postures to relax tight muscles throughout the body, a tranquil session restoring openness to the body. This session is a great compliment to your lunch break at work, after a long day of yard work or if you are just looking to gain more flexibility. Also an excellent session to tailor toward the runner.

 

 

Sacred Roots

Sacred Roots is exploratory praise and worship created to deepen your walk with Christ. Each session incorporates vinyasa flow sequences with God's Word, worship, and wellness. A unique opportunity to connect with our Creator; accompanied by contemporary and motivational Christian music with Scripture gently woven into each session, supporting a Christ honoring experience.

 

 

Yoga for Runners

Yoga for Runners combines Stretch and Let it GO with core strengthening sequences. As a runner the core muscles (not just the abs...but all the muscles from the shoulders to the knees - front, back and sides of the body!) are a vital component to good running form. Whether you are in it for the long haul or prefer the shorter distances that require punch and power, Yoga for Runners is a good pair with your running routine. You might not consider yourself "a runner", maybe you are a walker, jogger or aspiring crawler; this session can still be tailored to you!

As your practice deepens, you may notice more than physical changes. Pent-up emotions may rise to the surface be processed and released, stillness and clarity of mind, and mental shifts that free you from old perceptions and thought patterns. Your journey on the mat is personal and ever changing. I want you to get lost in your practice, explore a deeper side of your personal self, both inwardly and outwardly. Using what you learn and develop on the mat into your life off the mat.
